"FIT IN HIM"
                                     r12 TRUE SPIRITUALITY

Last month we told you about a church-wide campaign that we would be participating in next Fall, September 12 through
October 17. While seeking God’s will and looking at other options, we found another study we thought would benefit our
congregation even more. It is called r12 True Spiritually. It provides a pathway to true spirituality based on Romans 12.
This teaching from Romans 12 works as a spiritual compass to guide believers in their faith journey along a path to
become authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
For six weeks, during our morning worship services, Pastor Allen and Pastor Tracy will preach on the following topics
based on the scriptures:
“Five Key Relationships”
1. Relationship With God
2. Relationship With The World
3. Relationship With Yourself
4. Relationship With Believers
5. Relationship With Nonbelievers
During the week, small groups will be meeting in homes throughout the community.
We will need people to open their homes for small groups and to be facilitators. If you feel God is leading you to have a
group in your home or to be a facilitator, let Pastor Allen, Pastor Tracy, or one of the following committee members know:
Kennie Neff, Shirley Taylor, and Gail Vance
NOW YOU, TOO, CAN SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
ALL OVER THE WORLD BY SIMPLY SENDING THEM THIS LINK -

"MAKE CHRIST KNOWN!"
                TIME FOR A “TIME OUT”?
If you have done everything in your power to resolve a conflict, which isn’t being resolved, you have fulfilled your
responsibility to God and may stop actively trying to solve the problem. In the meantime, it is not necessary or wise
to waste time, energy, and resources fretting about someone who stubbornly refuses to be reconciled. Take a “time
out” and let God work.
SOCK AND UNDIE SUNDAY
Socks and undies in men’s and women’s sizes are being collected to distribute to our river friends. A laundry basket will
be placed outside the church office in August for donations. God will direct you on the sizes, as most every size is
needed.  If you need more information contact Missy Browning 304-634-7574 or email missy.browning@psysolutions.

New studies
for the Sunday School YOUTH classes!
On Sunday, August 22, the 9:45 a.m. class taught by Rhonda Null will start Fuel Ignited 3. A description of Fuel Ignited is Living
Your Faith that will lead students in living out their faith and becoming leaders in every sense of the word. Leadership is expressed
through relationships and influence, and students will discover how God has called and gifted them to live. Fuel Ignited volume
includes 12 sessions.
Fuel Ignited 3 covers these issues:
•        Missions
•        Spiritual Disciplines
•        Ethics and Morality

The 11:00 a.m. Sunday School Youth class taught by Jay Eckhart and Doug Freeman will start a new study called YLO which is a
Bible study based on the best of today’s contemporary Christian music. Each session will begin with the music and video and then
the truths of the song will be investigated. Some of the artists we will be listening to are Reliant K, Tenth Avenue North, Red,
Sanctus Real, David Crowder Band, Paige Armstrong and Casting Crowns.
Medically Assisted Recovery Support

“I have been addicted to drugs and alcohol for years, but through the MARS program I have hope that
I can be set free.”  This is another outreach of our church which is helping young people with recovery.
This small group started in October 2009, and meets every Friday from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. If you know
someone who needs this ministry, contact Bobbie Swan --  304-743-6814, or the church office.
Our summer fellowship Snack Suppers are held on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m. Make plans to come
and enjoy the food and fellowship and stay for our family evening programs which begin at 6:30.
Suggested donations for dinner are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12 years of age, with a max of
