The Gaither Vocal Band's Greatest Voices Reunite along with Special Guest Homecoming

There's no better way to celebrate Christmas than being surrounded by family and friends. This
season, Gospel legend Bill Gaither and AEG Live invite you to join them for the GAITHER
HOMECOMING CHRISTMAS TOUR 2010. Throughout December, the all-star Gaither Vocal
Band, along with a flurry of special guest Homecoming performers, will present a cavalcade of
beloved Christmas music and heartwarming hits in celebration of the most wonderful time of the
year!
Last year, legendary founder Bill Gaither reunited with renowned former Gaither Vocal Band
members Michael English, Mark Lowry, David Phelps and Wes Hampton in an all-star tribute
to the group's rich musical legacy, spanning more than a quarter century. The legacy continues
in December as the Gaither Vocal Band is joined by an incredible line-up of special guest
Homecoming performers for a sensational Christmas event that's not to be missed.
"Music has a way of uniting people," says Bill Gaither. "Over the last year and a half, we've felt
the power and inspiration that come with reunion. We couldn't think of a better way to
celebrate the magic of the season than by continuing that feeling with this year's Homecoming
Christmas Tour."

HUNTINGTON, WV – It’s time to say ‘hello,’ again, to
love at Huntington’s Big Sandy Superstore Arena,
October 1 with Christian artist Chris Tomlin.

With so many worldly distractions, it’s easy to loose sight
of what’s most important. Chris Tomlin recognizes this
and desires to reacquaint us with the one fundamental
element that’s become all too elusive. He explains, “The
thought I’ve had running through my head is that it’s time
to introduce ourselves to love again. People need to be
reminded that what we’re here to do is to love God and
love people. Worship is a relationship of love. It’s our
love of God and our love of people.”

Tomlin doesn’t find a great amount of value in hashing
over his musical journey again and again. It’s not that he’
s disinterested; it’s more that he’s much more interested
in the present.
           
“I want to talk about what’s right now,” says Tomlin, the
singer/songwriter/worship leader/Texas native/three-time
Gospel Music Association male vocalist of the year/two-
time GMA artist of the year/two-time GRAMMY
nominee/most sung Christian artist in the United States.

Tomlin’s present revolves around this new set of songs
titled Hello Love, his fourth studio record for
sixstepsrecords/Sparrow, and the continuation of what
Tomlin believes is the direct calling for his musical talent,
creating songs for the church.

MercyMe is an American contemporary Christian band founded in Greenville, Texas. The band consists of vocalist Bart Millard,
keyboardist James Bryson, percussionist Robin Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul.  
The band formed in 1994 and released six independent albums prior to signing with INO Records in 2001.[1] The group first gained
mainstream recognition with the crossover single, “I Can Only Imagine” which elevated their debut album, Almost There, to becoming
certified double platinum. Since then, the group has released five additional studio albums, four of which have been certified gold, and a
greatest hits album. MercyMe has won numerous Dove Awards and has had various Grammy Award nominations.  In 2009, Billboard
magazine named MercyMe the Christian songs artist of the decade for the 2000s.[2] Their song "Word of God Speak" was named the
Christian song of the decade and they also were named the Christian Adult Contemporary Songs Artist of the Decade.[2] They had 22
number one songs as of the end of 2009, and six of their songs ranked in the top 50 songs of the decade.[2]
